AIR JORDAN 5 GRAPES - 2013 RELEASE

Originally released in 1990 and last seen on September 30th of 2006, the Air Jordan 5 Grapes will release again in 2013.  At that time they retailed for $135.00, but it is certain that they will definitely cost more in the upcoming year.  The upper is made of white leather, while the rest of the sneaker has grape and green tones as contrasts.  If you're wondering how the concept of the Grape came about, it was once rumored to be inspired by the World War II Mustang fighter plane.  Not much more detail is provided about next year and this release, however, 2013 is Jordan Brand's 23rd Anniversary so it's probably safe to assume that 2013 will be a big year. Check out images and a detailed review of the last release of the Air Jordan 5 Grape below.

NIKE LEBRON 9 ELITE "CROWN ROYAL" CUSTOMS

TragiK Kicks created the Nike Lebron 9 Elite "Crown Royal" custom. Inspired by the Crown Royal liquor bag, the upper has the purplish velvet color of the bag with gold paint splatter along the panels. Although the Crown Royal bag has been used before on custom sneakers, this is indeed one eye-catching model. The gold swoosh is kept and the sole is finished off with speckles of gold as well. What do you think of these? Would you cop them if you had the chance? Let us know in the comment section below. And if these are a must have for you,, contact TRAGIKkicks on Facebook.

NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO CRIMSON

What do you think of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Crimson?  The verdict seems to be 50/50 from what we've heard.  We have yet to see a Foamposite that didn't sell out on release date, so why would that change for this release?  This edition on the Nike Air Foamposite Pro has a a crisp platinum silver Foam base and an infrared'ish (yeah, I said it) red crimson color along the branding and sole.  Initially the release date was set for September 1st, but it has actually been changed to August 31st.  Did Nike want these to hit before the Air Jordan 7 Raptor release?  Tell us what you think about these.  Definite cop or easy pass?

If you're in Georgia or willing to travel, the best place to cop these is the Fresh Sneaker Boutique at 405 Hwy 96, Ste. 1000 in Warner Robbins, GA. It will be a midnight release.  You can also call them at (478) 225-2818.

NIKE LUNAR HYPERDUNK+ BENJI WILSON TRIBUTE

Benji Wilson was a high basketball star from Chicago who led Simeon Vocational High School to the State Championship in 1984. Unfortunately, at age 17, he and the mother of his child were walking to school one day when he was gunned down - the day before the start of his senior year in high school. His family, friends and former teammates Nick Anderson and Tim Hardaway continue to keep his memory alive. The fact that Benji was #25 in high school is the reason why Nick Anderson would only wear that number during his professional career in the NBA. Derrick Rose also wore the number during his basketball career at Simeon Vocational High School in honor on Benji. As a tribute to Wilson's life and athletic accomplishments, iLoveDust created set that includes an engraved wooden box,a booklet and dog tags to go with a pair of Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+. The Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+ holds Wilson's high school colors of Game Royal and University Gold and also also has "Benji" inscribed above the heel. Take a look at the detailed pictures and a short documentary of Benji Wilson's life below.

NIKE DUNK HIGH "THRILLER" CUSTOMS BY DIVERSITILE

We all know that one of Michael Jackson's most memorable props in music video history was his red leather jacket in the Thriller video. The red, angular lines and protruding shoulders quickly became a trend in the mid-80's. It obviously continues to be a major force in fashion, because it has leaked into the sneaker world. Thriller's red leather jacket is the inspiration for this custom sneaker designed by Diversitile. Like the jacket, it has triple straps and snap-button closures. MJ's birthday just passed on August 29th. This is a perfect way for a sneaker lover to celebrate him.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW PRM DECONSTRUCT - TRIPLE BLACK

The Air Force 1 Deconstruct was introduced earlier this year as a light Air Force 1 that could be worn for casual use. Remember the Nike Air Force 1 Deconstruct Supreme Hazelnut? The series continues with a Black on Black colorway. It features an embroidered swoosh and a premium textured leather base that some people would consider similar to an elephant print. The deconstruct leather was made to masks creasing. Stains are hard to show on an all-black sneaker too, so this sneaker definitely provides an added plus unlike the usual. How do you feel about these? They are available now at select Nike Sportswear accounts for a low price of $100.00.
